In the 1960's Stephen V. Lyons started with a German Shorthaired Pointer, named "Ticker", and what a dog she was! She still is fondly remembered and responsible for around 40 years of enjoyment with sporting dogs.

Even though Stephen is fairly new with English Pointers, he understands the genetic make up of pedigrees when DNA'd, and is looking forward to success in his current breeding program.

His belief in the importance of socializing puppies (even while still nursing) has resulted in some very fine animals, whose owners have been more than pleased with their new best friend--a happy, healthy puppy who is also a pleaser.

Being a realtor, he specializes in locating recreation & hunting properties for the discriminating sportsman.

His home is in Hutto, Texas (NE of Austin), where he lives with his 42 year old wife--oops, his wife of 42 years, Dee, who is the kennel engineer, and the best little scooper in Texas. They have 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
